Content Pillars
Content Pillars are strategic core themes that serve as the foundation for your entire content strategy. They help you create consistent and targeted content that perfectly aligns with your company and resonates with your target audiences.
Benefits at a glance:
Strategic focus instead of random individual posts
Consistent, recognizable brand communication

Direct connection to specific target audiences
Content Pillars are incorporated into all social media and content tools of Christiani.AI to generate authentic and strategically valuable content.

Frequently Asked Questions and Problem Solutions
How many Content Pillars should I create?
Recommendation: 3-5 well-defined Content Pillars are ideal for a focused content strategy.
Minimum: 2 Content Pillars for basic variety
Maximum: 10 Content Pillars (technical limit)
Optimal: 4 strong Content Pillars covering different aspects of your business
⚠️ Less is more: Better 4 strategically thought-out and well-formulated Content Pillars than 10 superficial ones.
The generation doesn't work or delivers unsuitable results
Possible causes and solutions:
Incomplete company profile
Solution: Go to Settings → Company Profile and complete all core information
Especially important: Industry, target audiences, USP, products/services
Missing target audience definition
Solution: Create at least one target audience in the database
The AI uses target audience information for more relevant Content Pillars
Technical error
Solution: Refresh the page (F5) and try again
For repeated problems: Use the feedback tool or live chat
Can I change Content Pillars afterwards?
Yes, at any time! All changes are possible without problems:
✅ Adjust name and description
✅ Add or remove keywords
✅ Update tonality and content goals
✅ Change target audience connection
✅ Change color and icon
Important: Already created content (blog articles, social media posts, etc.) will not be retroactively changed by modifications to the Content Pillar. They retain their original form.
What happens when deleting a Content Pillar?
When deleting a Content Pillar:
✅ All already created content remains completely intact
✅ Only the connection between content and Content Pillar is removed
✅ You cannot restore the Content Pillar (but can create it anew)
✅ The content can be subsequently assigned to another Content Pillar
💡 Tip: Instead of deleting, consider renaming or adjusting the existing Content Pillar.
Do I have to select a Content Pillar when creating content?
No, the selection is optional. In every content tool you'll find the option "No pillar".
Without Content Pillar:
Christiani.AI creates content based on your company profile and the selected source
You lose the strategic thematic focus
Tonality and keywords are kept general
With Content Pillar:
Content is strategically focused
Consistency across multiple posts
Better positioning as an expert in your topic
How do I optimally use Content Pillars in the Content Plan?
Best Practice Workflow:
Create 4-5 Content Pillars for different aspects of your business
Go to the Content Plan
Create a separate Content Plan for each Content Pillar
Schedule posts from different pillars alternately
Use color coding for overview in the Social Media Calendar
Recommended distribution:
Pillar 1: 40% of your posts (main expertise)
Pillar 2: 30% of your posts (second expertise)
Pillar 3: 20% of your posts (complementary topics)
Pillar 4: 10% of your posts (personal/behind-the-scenes)
Christiani.AI doesn't consider my keywords properly
Optimization tips for keywords:
Specific instead of generic
❌ Bad: "Marketing, Business, Success"
✅ Good: "Content marketing strategy, LinkedIn reach, storytelling frameworks"
5-10 keywords per Content Pillar
Too few: AI has too little context
Too many: Dilutes thematic sharpness
Combine nouns with adjectives
Example: "Authentic leadership", "Digital customer service", "Sustainable product development"
Avoid redundancies
If "Leadership" is already in the name, "Management" and "Leader" as keywords are redundant
Can I link Content Pillars with multiple target audiences?
Currently not. Each Content Pillar can only be linked with one target audience.
Workaround:
Duplicate the Content Pillar
Rename it slightly differently (e.g., "Leadership for Startups" vs. "Leadership for SMEs")
Link each version with a different target audience

Best Practices & Pro Tips
✅ Do's
Start with AI generation: Let the AI analyze and create, then refine manually
Use all fields: The more complete the information, the better the AI outputs
Link target audiences: Automates the right approach
Update regularly: Adapt Content Pillars to changing market conditions
Test different tonalities: Experiment with different communication styles
❌ Don'ts
Not too general: "Business" is not a strategic Content Pillar
Not too many: More than 6-7 pillars dilute your positioning
Don't ignore: The best results come from consistent use
Not static: Content strategy must be allowed to evolve
