Choose Your Format: Talking Head or Viral Text Reel

Before entering any details, you first select your reel format. This choice determines which fields and options are displayed.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the Reel Generator

• Navigate to the Social Media Expert via the left sidebar

• Click on "Reel Generator" (formerly: Short-Form Videos)

• Or go directly to: christiani.ai/reel-story-generator

2. Select a Format

Choose between:

• Talking Head – you speak to the camera, the tool delivers your script

• Viral Text Reel – content appears as animated text, no presenter needed

3. Select a Source

Choose the basis for your reel's content:

• Business – general videos about your company

• Product/Service – specific videos about one of your offerings

• Trend Research – videos based on current trends from the Strategy Expert

• Other Topic – free topic of your choice

💡 Tip: Use a current trend research as your basis to create reels with high organic reach right now.

4. Define Target Audience and Content Pillar

• Select your target audience using the Audience Selector

• Choose the appropriate Content Pillar – this is linked to your target audience and adjusts automatically

5. Enter Current Context (Required)

Describe what is currently relevant in your business or what specific topic the reel should address. This field has the greatest impact on the quality of your results.

Good examples:

• "I'm currently launching my new online course for coaches"

• "3 mistakes self-employed people make with taxes"

• "Why most LinkedIn profiles don't attract clients"

6. Additional Information and Knowledge Base (Optional)

• Activate the Knowledge Base to draw on documents you've uploaded

• Enter specific context in the "Additional Information" field

⚠️ Important: The Knowledge Base is only searched when you also describe what to look for in the context field. Activating the toggle without any context has no effect.

7. Format-Specific Settings

Talking Head only:

• Choose your Video Goal: Awareness, Engagement, Conversion, Education, or Viral

• Set your Content Style: various style directions available

Viral Text Reel only:

• Select your Provocation Level:

  • Confrontational (7–8): direct and bold

  • Brutally honest (9–10): strongly polarizing

  • Maximum: highest possible provocation

• Set your Text Pacing:

  • Auto: the system selects the optimal pacing

  • Static: one screen, all text at once

  • Sequential: text appears step by step

  • Multi-Screen: content spread across multiple screens to swipe through

8. Generate Your Reels

• Click "Create Short Form Video Scripts"

• Generation takes approximately 30–60 seconds

• You automatically receive 3 variants (Talking Head) or 5 variants (Viral Text Reel)

Talking Head – What You Receive

Each of the 3 variants includes:

• Video script with a strong hook, structured main section, and call-to-action

• Visual instructions for dynamic cuts and text overlays

• Editing notes for professional video production

How to use your results:

• Copy the script into a teleprompter app (e.g., Teleprompter Premium) for natural recordings

• Share editing instructions with your video editor or cutter

• Post or schedule directly to Instagram

Viral Text Reel – What You Receive

You receive 5 tabs (Reel 1–5). Each tab shows:

Header Information:

• Reel type (e.g., Perspective Shift, Contrast)

• Provocation level (e.g., 8/10)

• Hook type

• Share trigger

Two-Column View:

Left – Phone Mockup (9:16):

• Interactive preview of how the reel looks in its finished format

• With Multi-Screen: navigation using arrows and dots to swipe through

• Shows background, text layout, and readability in real time

Right – Content Cards:

• Reel Text Card with individual screens, color-coded by function:

  • 🔴 HOOK – the first impression

  • 🔵 BUILD – context and development

  • 🟣 FLIP – the twist or perspective shift

  • 🟡 LOCK – the closing statement with CTA

• Caption Card with a ready-to-use caption and hashtag suggestions

Inline Editing:

• Clicking the Edit button next to any screen opens an editing field

• Changes are saved immediately

• The caption can be regenerated separately without repeating the entire reel

Actions (below the cards):

• 👍 / 👎 Feedback buttons per reel (feeds into future generations)

• Copy – copy all reel text to clipboard

• Post to Instagram – opens the Instagram dialog with caption pre-filled

Glossary (Viral Text Reel Only)

At the bottom of the results page, you'll find an expandable glossary with explanations for:

• Structure labels (HOOK / BUILD / FLIP / LOCK)

• Reel types (Perspective Shift, Contrast, etc.)

• Pacing variants

• Share triggers

Canva Integration: Design and Import Reels Directly

One of the key new features is the direct connection between the Reel Generator and Canva.

How it works:

1. Generate your Viral Text Reel as usual

2. Click "Create in Canva" (in the reel dialog or Instagram posting dialog)

3. The system opens Canva with the reel preset (9:16 format)

4. Design the visual layout in Canva to your liking

5. Export the finished reel from Canva and import it directly back into Christiani.AI

Smart Learning: Feedback Improves Your Reels

The feedback system (👍 / 👎) is more than a simple rating tool – it actively learns.

• The last 10 ratings are included as context in the next generation

• The more consistently you give feedback, the better future reels adapt to your style

• Feedback can be removed at any time by clicking again

• Ratings appear as green or red icons on each reel's tab

Post or Schedule to Instagram

After generating, you can publish reels directly from the tool:

1. Click "Post to Instagram"

2. The Instagram dialog opens with the caption pre-filled

3. Add an image or video (from your media library, AI generator, or Unsplash)

4. Choose: Post now or Schedule for later (select date and time)

All scheduled and published reels then appear in the Social Media Calendar.

⚠️ Prerequisite: Your Instagram account must be connected to Christiani.AI once beforehand. Check this under Manage Social Media Profiles.

Managing Your Reel Scripts

All generated reels are saved automatically. You can access them at any time via:

• Top right in the Reel Generator: click "My Reel & Story Scripts"

• Or via Saved Content → "Video Scripts" tab

The overview shows:

• Reel title

• Date created

• Format (Talking Head / Viral Text)

• Status (Draft / Scheduled / Published)

Frequently Asked Questions and Troubleshooting

❓ My reels sound too generic – what can I do?

The "Current Context" field is the most important input. Instead of "marketing tips," try: "3 mistakes coaches make during their first client call and how to avoid them." The more specific the topic, the more targeted the result.

❓ The hook isn't grabbing attention – how do I improve it?

• Test all generated variants before discarding them

• Increase the provocation level on the next run (Viral Text only)

• Use numbers and concrete promises in the context field: "5 reasons why..." or "90% of people get this wrong..."

❓ The reel is too long for under 60 seconds (Talking Head)

• Use the editing field: "Shorten the script to 45 seconds"

• Focus the topic on a maximum of 1–2 key messages

• Select "short" as the style direction on the next run

❓ The text pacing in my Viral Text Reel doesn't match my style

Change the pacing on the next run:

• Static – calm, one screen, ideal for in-depth messages

• Sequential – dynamic, great for step-by-step content

• Multi-Screen – interactive, ideal for listicles and multiple points

❓ The caption doesn't match the reel

Use the "Regenerate Caption" button directly in the results view – the reel itself remains unchanged.

❓ Can I generate a reel multiple times on the same topic?

Yes. Each new run produces different variants. Use the feedback system so that results align with your style over time.

❓ Instagram says my account is not connected

Go to Social Media Profiles and connect your Instagram account. Instagram must be a Creator or Business account and linked to a Facebook Page.
